If you get the 'Failed to join game' error then you probably need to open your ports for the game to connect to other players. If you get this error when starting the game 'The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000005)', go to the game's main directory, right click on 'age3m.exe' and disable compatibility mode. If the game doesn't run on Windows 10, make sure you have DirectPlay enabled from: Programs and Features > Turn Windows features on or off > Legacy Componenets > DirectPlay.

If you have problems with settings not saving properly go to your game's directory and set 'age3m.exe' to run in compatibility mode for WinXP SP3!

If the CD Key doesn't save then run Asian Dynasties as administrator. The mod's exe cannot accept CD Keys, you must start Asian Dynasties and put your CD Key there. If the Patcher gets stuck at the end just close it and run it again as administrator. If you have problems with resources not being displayed correctly in the UI please go to 'Options' and press the 'Restore Defaults' button.
